Here are the folks who keep the ship afloat at the Deconstruction Doula. We're a small team doing this on a part-time basis for the love of the community. As such, we usually have to work more slowly than we'd like. That said, each member of our team would be more than honored to speak with you about your story, and learn more about your needs.
Co-founder / Education, Fundraiser
Margaret Bronson
Margaret grew up in a Christian Nationalist cult, then spent 12 years with her husband as a pastor's wife in more 'mainstream' evangelical churches. She writes for The Deconstruction Doula, organizes and leads our peer support cohorts and retreats alongside Erin, and gathers resources for the community.
Co-founder / Administration
Erin Kelly
Erin grew up squarely in the theonomy wing of Christian homeschooling and evangelicalism. She plans, organizes, and runs retreats and cohorts with Margaret, and she handles all the administrative apparatus needed to keep this community going and ensure everyone has access to the resources they need.
Volunteer Doulos
David Bronson
David was a pastor in evangelicalism for over a decade, and grew up in the Southern Baptist Convention as the son of a pastor. He has a severe chronic illness and volunteers his time in our community as a listening ear, running Deep Dives, maintaining the blog, and whatever else needs doing.
